1. Delivery Methods
Currently, Taketocart Online (Pty) Ltd uses courier services for delivery.
2. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges will be calculated and clearly displayed on the checkout page when you place your order.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Typically, you can expect delivery of your goods within 2 (two) to 5 (five) working days. Please note that if you make a purchase after 3 pm, the following day is considered the first day of delivery.
4. Delay Notifications
If the courier experiences delays beyond the specified delivery timeframe, we will notify you promptly via email.
5. Delivery Period
Taketocart Online (Pty) Ltd is committed to delivering your goods as swiftly as possible, with a maximum delivery period of 30 (thirty) days from the receipt of your payment. We will inform you if we anticipate any difficulties in meeting this timeframe. In such cases, you have the option to decide within 7 (seven) days of receiving the notification whether to proceed with your order or cancel it. If you choose to cancel, we will refund you for the purchase price within 7-14 working days. If you decide to proceed, we will place a new order with the supplier, and the Delivery Period will restart.
6. Non-Website Orders
For products not ordered through our website platform, delivery lead times will be clearly indicated on quotations and invoices.
7. Stock Availability
In cases where Taketocart Online (Pty) Ltd or a supplier does not have stock of a specific item, we will inform you of the lead times as indicated on your invoice. Your lead time will commence once payment reflects in Taketocart Online's bank account. If funds are received after 12 pm in the afternoon, your lead time will start on the following business day.
8. Delivery Completion
Taketocart Online (Pty) Ltd's responsibility to deliver a product is considered fulfilled once we deliver the product to the physical address you have specified for the delivery of your order. Please note that Taketocart Online (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any loss or unauthorized use of a product after it has been successfully delivered to the designated physical address.
9. Delivery during the Holiday Season
As the holiday season, particularly around Christmas and New Year, approaches, we recommend completing your shopping as early as possible. Due to supplier closures and limited courier services during this period, some products may experience delays and may only be delivered in the new year. Please be aware that the standard delivery lead times may not apply to all products during the holiday season.

This Return Policy forms an integral part of Taketocart Online (Pty) Ltd's Terms and Conditions. Definitions as found in the Terms and Conditions apply to this policy unless the context suggests otherwise. We don't intend to restrict your statutory rights in any way.
1. Preparing Your Products for a Return
To ensure a seamless processing of your return request, you're responsible for the following when returning your products:
- Securely package your products to protect them during transit.
- Clearly indicate your return reference number on the outside of the parcel.
- Include all accessories and parts that originally came with the product.
- Returns and exchanges will only be accepted if the product is in a condition suitable for resealing and in its original packaging with labels.
- Please be aware that we don't accept returns and exchanges for garments that have been altered, branded, or modified in any way.
- Returns are not accepted for sale items or discontinued items.
Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in delays in processing your request or a rejection of your request.
2. Returning Products
Exchange Option: For fashion and sportswear products, you can exchange for a different size or color variation, provided such variation is available, and the product hasn't been worn (only tried on). We offer to collect the product from you and deliver the requested product to you at a charge of R120.00. If the desired variation isn't available, we will provide a refund within 10 working days.
We retain the right to inspect the product to validate your return.
Incorrect Product: If we mistakenly deliver the wrong product to you or if the product doesn't match the description on our website, please inform us. We will collect the incorrect product from you at no charge. If the product is missing any accessories or parts, please notify us via email at sales@taketocart.co.za within 7 working days of receiving the product. After validation, we will either deliver the correct product as soon as possible (if available) or refund the product's value within 10 working days.
3. Products Damaged on Delivery
If a product is damaged or missing parts or accessories at the time of delivery or collection, please notify us within 7 days of such delivery or collection by sending an email to sales@taketocart.co.za.
We will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. After inspecting the product and confirming your return, we will either repair or replace the product as soon as possible (if repair is feasible and we have the same product in stock as a replacement) or provide a refund based on your preference.
4. Defective Products
We make every effort to ensure that the products we deliver are of high quality and free from defects.
A defect is defined as a material imperfection in the manufacturing of a product or any characteristic of a product that makes it less acceptable than reasonably expected.
The following will NOT be considered defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section:
- Faults resulting from normal wear and tear.
- Damage arising from negligence, user abuse, or incorrect usage of the product.
- Damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion.
- Damage arising from inadequate care for the product.
- Damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product.
- Cases where the product's specifications, although accurately described on the website and generally suitable for its intended purpose, don't meet your personal preferences.
- In relation to Unboxed Deals or used products, signs of handling and/or repackaging.
- Broken or dented casings (physical abuse or misuse).
- Burnt items (incorrect environmental conditions).
- Insect infestation.
- Incorrect usage according to the user manual.
- User-induced damage to the printed circuit board assembly (tampering).
- Warranty seals broken or tampered with.
- Serial number labels removed, damaged, or defaced.
5. Return Timeframe
No returns or exchanges will be accepted after 7 working days from the delivery date.
FAQs
To which locations do you provide delivery?
Our delivery services are limited to South Africa's boundaries, and the typical delivery timeframe is 2-5 working days.
Is it possible to opt for self-collection rather than accepting delivery?
Regrettably, all online-purchased items are exclusively eligible for direct delivery to your address.
How will I be informed about the expected delivery time for my order?
Our designated delivery partner will send you SMS notifications when your package is en route to your location.
How will I receive a refund if I decide not to proceed with my purchase?
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase, whether it's a credit card or EFT, and will be for the exact amount you paid. It may take up to 7 working days for the refund to appear in your bank account. Please note that EFT refunds will necessitate the verification of your banking information. Thus, once an online agent has confirmed your banking details, kindly allow 7 working days for the refund to be reflected.
What is the time frame provided for completing an EFT payment?
You have a 48-hour window to finalize your EFT payment. If the payment is not completed within this period, the order will be canceled.
How will I be informed that my order has been successfully placed?
You will receive an order confirmation notification by email.
What are the requirements for online shopping?
